This is the basic method to leave the deep-fryer behind, and let the heat of your oven crisp these babies up just like they had taken a spin in a vat of oil! So think spicy, salty, savoury, herby, cheesy, crispy, crunchy – dip ’em in whatever you like and you’ll be turning out designer fries like you owned the joint! Gives new meaning to TGIF – thank god it’s fry day! 1. Cover a baking tray with parchment and douse with olive oil and seasonings.

2. Scrub and start cutting the potatoes into sticks, whatever size you like.

4. Toss them on your prepped baking tray.

5. And move around to completely coat each and every fry before baking in a hot oven.
